Information and Team Kickoff Meeting - January 8

I know that it is Christmas and everyone is occupied with shopping and baking and all that stuff. I have nothing against that but I am totally against cold. To ward off thoughts of cold, I think of the Amazon! Always hot - none of that nasty white stuff or freezing precipitation garbage. When it rains there, it is real rain and none of it sticks!

Put this in your calendars before you forget. We will have a team meeting/information meeting on Tuesday, January 8, at Eastview Christian Church. Our meeting will be in room 138 and will start at 7:00 PM. Would you consider checking out this trip? Trip dates are May 29 - June 8. Let's hear it for the jungle...

Trip Dates - Changed...Again

Well, God knows what He is doing but sometimes (OK, most of the time, ummm, all the time) I find it so hard to catch up to where He wants me to be. Just when I thought the trip dates were finally set, well, no, they didn't work from the Brazil end of things - again. But, being challenged by reading Andrew Murray's book - Waiting on God, I finally asked God to just take over and if we were to go to Brazil, He would have to make the dates clear. And He did - why can't I learn?

Crank up the prayer team for Amazon 2008 and stand back to watch how God builds a team, provides for finances and all the other details. God willing, we are off to Brazil on May 29 and will return to Bloomingt on June 8.
